Zamani did not take anything with him, not even his MyKad, money or beloved guitar said Pengasih president Datuk Yunus Pathi.
He said Pengasih had discussed with Zamani’s family on keeping the vocalist at the centre until December or January 2016, as they work on reintegrating the former addict back into regular society.
“He seemed under pressure, but he doesn’t tell the truth.
Shortly after disappearing, Yunus said he received a call from Zamani claiming that he was safe and that he wanted to meet up with him on Monday.
However, the singer refused to participate in several programmes due to a bad hip, which he is being treated for.
Later, a video of him apparently being forced to sing on of his band’s hit songs while handcuffed and in lock up went viral on social media.
